This is a real HDR, it is merged with 5 photos using Photomatix. There is a tutorial out there that shows you how to Fake HDR, but it looks cheesy and slopp, your best bet is to take the photos yourself and merge them together. You need a camera that can change is exposure IE: bracketing.

Photoshop has a HDR Merger as well, but you have to do lots of touching up to make it look like the image above, the image above is more surreal while the Photoshop merger gives the images a Realistic HDR finish.

You could also merge the photographs manually through photoshop and use masks to filter though exactly what you want to see, or you could combine the two, which is highly possibly, and takes up a lot of your time.

To get the surreal affects above without having to purchase additional software, you can re-open your HDR under camera Raw [jpegs work in camera raw] and you can tweak the image in Camera Raw and get a more surreal look.

Tilt Shift

Recently I have been playing around with tilt shifting. Which is really fun. It makes everything look like a miniature model. Its interesting to play around with.

Although the site isn’t completely finished, images are being added to start my digital Portfolio!

So far images have been added to the Painting Gallery found under the Fine Arts collection, and Darkroom Photography has been added as well under the Photography collection.
